Flowers
one pretty flower
got stomped by heavy boots
another pretty flower
got killed by toxic waste
and on this meadow
these things are normal
on this meadow
only weeds survive
the air is full of pollution
where the flowers grow
they build large stores
because they profit
and very soon
no one will remember
how the flowers bloomed
and bees were flying
