Water

Water flows in the brooks
Winds shake trees in the forests
A dead cat rots on a street
Next to a sewer entrance
And the sand goes in an hourglass
An old king taps his fingers on the throne
While the stars build galaxies
Where unknown wonders remain undiscovered
Eternity turns bones into dust
In light it blinks like diamonds
Treasures await for the brave
Chains for the wicked
Noise of humanity, silence of death
Honest promise of the gravestones
Nature of things as they are
A tear in endless dark
